Sherlock whilst being a relatively new BBC show, it's fans are no less dedicated. There has already been more than a year between the second and third season, which still hasn’t been released. The two released seasons have only three episodes each, yet fans revel in the ability to re-watch the few episodes, and keen their eyes for the clues and details left behind by the creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. Currently between seasons the fandom is hypothesising what the cliff hanger at the end of Season 2 may mean. Seemingly the most popular ‘ship’ of this fandom is ‘Johnlock’ focusing on the relationship between the detective and his army doctor companion John Watson. A large portion of this fandom is also dedicated to the united adoration of Benedict Cumberbatch (spawning another fandom ‘CumberBitches’).
